Isle Open Event 7 (Day 2): Large Disparity Between Culotta...And The Rest

2017 Isle Open | Event #7
$360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 20 (Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 941
Players Remaining: 65

Martin Culotta (Florida) eliminated a player just a few moments ago, helping him become the first player in the field to eclipse the 1,000,000 chip mark.

Martin Culotta hasn't relinquished his Day 2 chip lead, in fact...he's gained even more separation between himself and the field.  After coming into the day with a 100,000 more than his nearest competitor, Culotta is now 200,000 more than Peter Fellows, and close to a half-million north of the rest of the field.  Martin is the only player over 1,000,000, and certainly feels comfortable in this priced-point event.  It was a $360 No Limit Hold'em tournament earlier this year in which he earned his breakout score, finishing runner-up in the $360 NLH ($500,000 GTD) event during the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open ($117,976).

Martin Culotta - 1,000,000
Peter Fellows - 800,000
Ory Hen - 600,000
Frank Lerczak - 580,000
Rafael Reis - 515,000
Steve McKoy - 500,000
Michael Amato - 500,000
Erik Nomberg - 475,000
Bryce McVay  - 475,000
Paul Grigsby - 430,000
Maurice Hawkins - 400,000
