Isle Open Event 7 (Day 2): Larry Klur Elimination Brings Field Below Century Mark

2017 Isle Open | Event #7
$360 No Limit Hold'em | $200,000 GTD
Level 17 (Blinds 2,500/5,000/500)
Total Entries: 941
Players Remaining: 96

Joshua Wasserman (Deerfield Beach, FL) is over 200,000, and sitting with a comfortable stack of (40) bigs after eliminating Larry Klur,

With the elimination of Larry Klur (Pembroke Pines, FL) moments ago, the field dropped below (100) remaining, meaning we are that much closer to the money (83 players get paid in the event).  Klur started the day with 103,000, but just got his last ten bigs (50,000) in against Joshua Wasserman, holding A 4 against Josh's A♠ K♣.  The board would run out Q 9 8♠ J♠ 8, with Klur wishing his table mates good luck, and exiting the tournament field.  Wasserman, who started the day just above the chip average, eclipses 200,000 with the pot.  Josh came into the day with over $62,700 in live tournament earnings, and would need fourth place ($17,085) in this event to grab his largest lifetime cash.

Joshua Wasserman - 214,000
