Isle Poker Classic Event #1 (Day 2): Joshua Beckley Eliminated By Nigel Murray In 51st Place ($580)

2018 Isle Poker Classic (Event #1)
$200 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack"
$100,000 GTD
Level 24 (Blinds 20,000/30,000/30,000)
Total Event #1 Entries: 1,007
Event #1 Players Remaining: 45

Nigel Murray (Miami Gardens, FL) didn't even have to get settled at his new table, shoving his sub-ten big blind stack just two hands after arriving at Table 1.

Joshua Beckley (Marlton, NJ) was looking for back-to-back Isle Poker trophies, having won Event #3 during the 2018 Isle Open (in October).  Joshua earned $22,520 for the win in the $100 No Limit Hold'em event, a result that was on the heels of a final table during the WSOP Circuit $2,200 No Limit Hold'em High Roller.  Beckley came into Day 2 with one of the top five stacks, but had trouble finding traction over the past few levels.

The blinds caught up to Beckley, who was left with under 100,000 (after posting the big blind and ante), and ended up calling the shove of Nigel Murray (who was also short stacked, with just over 200,000).  Murray's K♣ J bested the 3♠ 6♠ of Beckley, on a runout of A♠ Q♣ 9 5♣ K♣.  The former WSOP Main Event runner-up earned $580 for his 50th place finish, with his back-to-back bid cut short.

Nigel Murray - 380,000 (12bb)
Joshua Beckley - Eliminated (51st Place - $580)
