Isle Poker Classic Event #1 (Day 2): Gearing Up For A Long Day 2, As Dragos Iosub Starts The Day With The Chip Lead

2018 Isle Poker Classic (Event #1)
$200 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack"
$100,000 GTD
Level 17 (Blinds 3,000/6,000/6,000)
Total Event #1 Entries: 1,007
Event #1 Players Remaining: 129

Dragos Iosub picked up where he left off, eliminating a player from his table on the first hand of Day 2.

Players began arriving over thirty minutes ago, unpacking their chips from the bags, and preparing for Day 2 of Event #1.  From the tournament's 1,007 entries, (129) players reached Day 2, and will be looking to advance as far as possible.  The day's play begins in Level 17, with blinds of 3,000/6,000/6,000, and levels that last (30) minutes (and will stay that way through the event's conclusion).  Dragos Iosub (Dublin, Ireland) returns as the Day 2 chip leader, after bagging 931,000 at the end of yesterday's afternoon flight (Flight 1G).  Iosub has over $102,000 in lifetime tournament earnings, thanks to his most recent score.  Dragos shipped Event #8 of the Rock N' Roll Poker Open ($570 No Limit Hold'em), earning $82,000 for his efforts.  Prior to that result, Iosub's largest tournament score was just over $5,000, which he earned in a chop of August's $175 No Limit Hold'em "Night Owl."  Dragos is clearly in good form, and with his most recent trophy win, is brimming with confidence.

Dragos Iosub - 931,000 (155bb)
