Monday, December 3rd: Event #1 Closes With 1,007 Entries, And A Prize Pool Of $159,106...Day 2 Play Resumes At 12:00PM

ICYMI: Sunday hosted the final pair of Event #1 ($200 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" $100,000 GTD) flights, a tournament that will go down as one of the most successful in Isle Poker Room history.  With the event's guarantee being eclipsed on Saturday night, word quickly spread about the value for the tournament, and the players showed up in droves.  Between the pair of flights, there were (346) entries, with 151 (Flight 1G) and 195 (Flight 1H) respectively.  From that number, (40) players would bag chips for today's Day 2, led by Dragos Gabriel Iosub.  Dragos did the unthinkable, bagging 931,000 at the end of Flight 1G, a number that was seeming unattainable.  That was almost double the largest bagged stacked from the flight before it, and puts Iosub in a very enviable position, as players return at 12:00pm for Day 2 (this afternoon).  Cesar Fuentes tried to do his best Dragos impression during the night flight, but fell short of the goal, only bagging a measly 875,000.  Official chip counts for Day 2 can be found by clicking here.

After all flights were completed, Event #1 saw registration close with an impressive 1,007 entries, and a prize pool that closed at $159,106.  The payouts have not yet been released, but the (129) players that will be returning at 12:00pm, will surely be battling it out for some healthy numbers.  All of Day 2's action will be coverage live, through the conclusion of the tournament.

Tournaments: Monday's tournament schedule is headlined by Day 2 of Event #1 ($200 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD), with players returning to action at 12:00pm.  The structure stays the same, as players come back to their respective flights, with levels lasting (30) minutes through the tournament's end.

There are also two satellites on the schedule, the first of which (11:00am) is a $50 No Limit Hold'em Step-Satellite into the $130 No Limit Hold'em Main Event ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em) Satellite (that runs at 3:00pm).  The step-satellite is structured with 10,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

The 3:00pm satellite ($130 No Limit Hold'em Satellite Into Isle Poker Classic Main Event) is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
