FSPC Event 14 (Day 2): "Just Unlucky," Idrovo Eliminated On The Bubble

Pedro Aldave (Hallandale Beach, FL)

Pedro Idrovo had about as rough of a bubble as a player could have.  Idrovo got involved in a hand with Hyndi Khomutetsky, starting the hand with close to 150,000.  He would call a bet pre, and then call once again when Hyndi bet 18,000 after the J♥ 9♥ 2♣ flop.  Idrovo called once again on the turn (10♠), with Hyndi betting out 25,000.  After the 4♣ on the river completed the board (J♥ 9♥ 2♣ 10♠ 4♣), Hyndi announced hereself all-in for 60,000.  Pedro took some time in the tank, but eventually pushed his hand towards the muck.  Hyndi turned over 2♠ 3♦, going with her pair of deuces for her tournament life.

Left with just over 100,000 after that hand, Idrovo would find himself embattled in a hand with Pedro Aldave.  On a J♣ 5♣ 3♥ 9♦ board, Idrovo bet out 20,000, with Aldave making the call.  The action began four-handed, so heading to the river, Idrovo would be left with a pot sized stack (70,000).  After the 8♠ on the river, Idrovo shoved, and Aldave quickly made the call.  Aldave immediately turned over Q♣ 10♣, having rivered the straight, and beaten Idrovo's J♥ J♦.  

"Just unlucky," Idrovo said to the table, as he collected his things and walked away from the table.  No other players were eliminated on that same hand, meaning Pedro Idrovo would be the Event 14 "bubble boy."  Everyone remaining is guarantee at least $1,914, with the payouts to be posted at each pay jump.
