FSPC Event 14 (Day 2): McDonough One Of The Day's Early Movers

2017 Florida State Poker Championships
Event 14 - $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($150,000 GTD)
Level 14 (Blinds 1,000/2,000/300)
Total Entries: 279
Players Remaining: 49/279

Skip McDonough (Boynton Beach, FL)

Skip McDonough (Boynton Beach, FL) started Day 2 (just an hour ago) with 51,300.  Even though he was returning to play with (42) big blinds, he was still in the bottom ten of players returning (not counting the Day 2 buy-ins).  The first level of the day was kind to Skip though, who managed to turn that stack into 140,000.  The rise up the leaderboard was due in part to a big hand with Richard Kirsch, who came into the day fifth in chips.  Kirsch's Day 2 story was much different though, as he trending downwards since the moment the cards got in the air.  McDonough did have Kirsch covered in said hand, and would eliminate Richard for play.

Kirsch's elimination was just before the level's transition, but since Level 14 began, we have seen both Tom Gity and Anthony Ruberto heads towards the exit.

Skip McDonough - 140,000
