Alex Turyansky (Saarbrucken, Germany) Event #14 Winner ($46,138)

When heads-up play began, Alex Turyansky had an almost 2:1 chip lead over Scott Efron, and it would only take sixteen hands before a champion was crowned.  After Alex opened the button to 100,000, Efron made the call, and the two would see a flop of 9♣ 9 10.  Alex then called a 200,000 bet from Efron, followed by a 300,000 bet after the 5 on the turn.  After committing close to thirty percent of his stack, Scott shoved the river, and would be snap-called by Turyansky.  Efron turned over Q♠ Q, but it would be no good agains the full house of Turysansky (9♠ 5♣).

Scott Efron (Boca Raton, FL) Event #14 Runner-Up ($28,497)
