Isle Open Event 14 ($2,500 Single-Day): Richard Kirsch Eliminated By Alex Turyansky In 3rd Place ($16,284)

2017 Isle Open | Event #14
$2,500 NLH Single-Day Series | $100,000 GTD
Level 19 (Blinds 20,000/40,000/30,000 Ante)
Total Entries: 59
Players Remaining: 2

Richard Kirsch (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) was in a spot with thirteen outs to double up, but bricked on the turn and river, only to exit the final table in third place.

The action continued as fast as its been the entire night, with Richard Kirsch getting it all-in with Alex Turyansky, just moments after Ted McNamara busted in fourth.  On a flop of 10 8 4, Kirsch would be all-in holding A9♣ against the K K of Turyansky, for a pot worth well over 2,000,000.  Richard needed an ace or heart to grab the lead, but found neither on the turn or river, and would exit the final table in third place ($16,284).  This finish bettered his fourth place finish back in August, as he's managed two cashes, in the three "Single-Day" events that have now been played.

Alex Turyansky and Scott Efron are now heads-up for the Event #14 trophy, and are playing for:

  1. $46,138
  2. $28,497
