Isle Open Event 14 ($2,500 Single-Day): @JBoishere Leads The Field, As Registration Window Closes

2017 Isle Open | Event #14
$2,500 NLH Single-Day Series | $100,000 GTD
Level 7 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/4,000 Ante)
Total Entries: 55

Jon Borenstein (Teaneck, NJ) spent most of his career playing poker in the Northeast, but moved to Florida last year, and is now in the midst of his best statistical year to date.

As the Event #14 field continues to grow, one player has separated himself from the rest of the field, as Jon Borenstein (Teaneck, NJ) has already eclipsed the 500,000 mark.  Borenstein, who recently moved to Florida last year (from New Jersey), is currently experiencing his most successful year of live tournament poker.  With over $463,000 in earnings, and a career highlighting result during the WPT500 (2017 Aria Poker Classic | 1st Place - $230,000), this has surely been year to remember for Borenstein.

Most recently, Jon bested a field of 3,003 entries in the $350 No Limit Hold'em "Almighty Stack" event at Borgata (2017 Borgata Poker Open), eventually chopping the tournament with good friend Dan Buzgon ($138,000).  He also finished runner-up in his first ever PLO tournament, falling just short of his first WSOP Circuit ring (during the series at Hard Rock Hollywood).  Borenstein is still looking for his first tournament win in Florida, but has already positioned himself for a deep run this evening.

Jon Borenstein - 520,000
