Isle Open Event 15 (Day 2): Piedrabuena Eliminated On Final Table Bubble

2017 Isle Open | Event #15
$1,100 No Limit Hold'em | $150,000 GTD
Level 22 (Blinds 6,000/12,000/2,000)
Total Event 15 Entries: 180
Players Remaining: 10

Claudio Piedrabuena (Argentina) was down to three big blinds, and while he was able to get those chips in ahead, the river would be unkind.

After the elimination of Brandon Ageloff (12th Place), the Event #15 field would be on the final table bubble.  Claudio Piedrabuena, who was the shortest stack remaining (with less than five bigs), got his chips in good against Brian Hastings.  Claudio's A♠ Q♣ was dominating the A 10of Hastings, and after the 9 7♠ 2♣ 4 runout, he'd need only to fade a ten on the river.  Unfortunately for Piedrabuena, his hopes of doubling up would be dashed, as one of the three remaining tens arrived on the river.  Claudio would earn his first ever Isle Poker tournament result, taking home $3,815 for his eleventh place finish.

The remaining players then went through their last redraw of the evening, with the seating assignments for the final table listed below:
  1. Ido Ashkenazi
  2. Francklin Michel
  3. Noel Atherley
  4. Jacob Snider
  5. Joseph Marchese
  6. Brian Hastings
  7. Rob Jonsson
  8. Justin Harvell
  9. Sheldon Gross
  10. Kenneth Bruno
