CPPT Event #1 (Day 2): Alexander Perez Out In 11th Place, Event #1 Reaches It's Final Table

2018 Card Player Poker Tour (Isle Casino Pompano Park)
Event #1 | $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 24 (Blinds 20,000/30,000/30,000)
Total Event #1 Entries: 759
Event #1 Players Remaining: 10

Alexander Perez (Miami, FL) was clearly displeased as he headed to the tournament podium, victim of a drawing hand, against his pocket aces.

Alexander Perez's final hand was just a formality, as he was all-in for less than three big blinds.  The hand prior would be his demise, as he got it all-in on a 6♠ 8 3♣ flop with A♠ A♣, against the 7♠ 9♠ of Chad Kastel.  After getting check raised on the flop by Kastel, Perez three-bet shoved, with Chad calling off for his tournament life.  The turn would bring a 7, giving Chad even more outs, followed by a 10 on the river, completed Kastel's straight.

Perez would be eliminated the next hand, as the clock would be paused, and players would be given their seats at the final table.  The new seating assignments and chip counts will be posted shortly.
