There were big hands unfolding at every table, but action would be caught on Table 2, as Erik Nomberg and David Albertson were involved in a pot. On the turn of a board reading J♥ 4♠ 2♥ 10♠, Albertson would shove for just over pot (David's stack was counted down to 315,000), with Erik deep in the tank. He would cut out the chips for a call, and while he'd still be left with well over the chip average, Nomberg didn't see pleased with the spot. Erik eventually made the call, with Alberston in rough shape:
Albertson: 5♣ 5♦
Nomberg: A♥ J♣
River: 10♦
"Don't do it to me," Nomberg said to the dealer, just moments before the river card hit the felt. With Albertson's elimination, the tournament staff would pause the clock, and the final eighteen players would be given new seating assignments (which will be posted shortly).
