CPPT Event #1 (Day 2): Joshua Duvdivani Elimianted By Thomas Puccio In 23rd Place ($1,625)

2018 Card Player Poker Tour (Isle Casino Pompano Park)
Event #1 | $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 21 (Blinds 8,000/16,000/16,000)
Total Event #1 Entries: 759
Event #1 Players Remaining: 22

Thomas Puccio (Miami Beach, FL) couldn't even watch the runout against Duvdivani, even though it was only a twenty big blind pot.

Joshua Duvdivani (Sunrise, FL) had been super short since returning from the day's first break, and while he was able to score a double through Erik Nomberg, it only helped him chip back up to ten big blinds.  Joshua would be all-in just moments ago, shoving over an open from Thomas Puccio.  After making the call, Puccio would see the dominating position he was in, holding J J♣ against Joshua's A♠ J♠.  The board would run out 9♣ 3 3♣ 8♣ 8, with Puccio looking away as each street was placed down on the table.

Joshua would be eliminated in 23rd place after bricking the runout ($1,625), while Thomas Puccio chipped up to 1,200,000.  A ninth place finish (or better) would be Thomas's largest tournament cash, with his career earning eclipsed if he finishes fifth place or better.

Thomas Puccio - 1,200,000 (75bb)
Joshua Duvdivani - 23rd Place ($1,625)
