CPPT Event #1 (Day 2): It's All Erik Nomberg, As He Knocks Out Zach Milchman In 9th Place ($4,060)

2018 Card Player Poker Tour (Isle Casino Pompano Park)
Event #1 | $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 26 (Blinds 25,000/50,000/50,000)
Total Event #1 Entries: 759
Event #1 Players Remaining: 8

Zachary Milchman (Coconut Creek, FL) said he was "hoping for a long night," as he sat back down from break, but saw those plans cut short by Erik Nomberg.

Action would fold around to Michael Garavuso (in the cutoff), who raised to 140,000, with Erik Nomberg announcing an all-in (having the table covered) next to act.  Zachary Milchman (Coconut Creek, FL) shoved for less (460,000), with Garvuso then releasing his hand:

Milchman: K♣ K
Nomberg: A♣ Q

Runout: Q♣ Q♠ 4 2♠ 8

Garavuso said that he folded an ace (before the runout), so it seemed as if Milchman was in prime position to double his short stack.  The flop would bring trips to Nomberg, who held on through the turn and river, eliminating Zach in 9th place ($4,060).  Erik now has "all of the chips," sitting with a stack that's over 5,000,000.
