After six opening flights, Event #1 of the Card Player Poker Tour ended up with (759) total entries, and an official prize pool of $227,700. There will be (40) players returning at 2:00pm this afternoon, ready to wrap up the tournament, and crown a winner for the opening event of the series. Everyone returning is already in the money, with a min-cash worth $990, and first place scheduled to take home $40,585. Live blogged coverage of Day 2 will begin the moment the first hand is dealt, continuing through the event's conclusion.
As the registration was closing for Event #1, the second tournament of the series was just getting underway. Event #2 was a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($5,000 GTD), which attracted a total of (43) entries. Five spots were scheduled to get paid in the event, with the eventual first place winner in line to take away $1,579. Once the money bubble burst, and Andrew Daire was eliminated in fifth place, the remaining four players agreed to a deal. Raul Hernandez (West Palm Beach, FL) was declared the event's winner, earning $1,121 for first place money in the deal. Full Event #2 results are listed below:
- Raul Hernandez (West Palm Beach, FL) $1,121

The final tournament of the day is Event #4 of the Card Player Poker Tour, which gets underway at 6:00pm. The $150 No Limit Hold'em event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (20) minutes. Registration is open through Level 8, and the ten minute break that follows (closed once Level 9 resumes).

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand. The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
