On the first hand of bubble play, Brent Speer would be all-in at risk, after having been called by James Hall.  Speer would be flipping for his tournament life, as the rest of the table (and field) watched intently:

While Speer was unable to flop a pair, he did earn extra outs with the paired board.  Both players were calling for cards on the turn and river, and even though none of their requests were actually granted, the runout favored Hall.  Brent Speer would be the Flight 1B bubble boy, with the remaining players all guaranteed at least $500.
