CPPT Event #1 (Flight 1B): Christopher Lawson Finds Himself In The Area, And In The Flight 1B Field

2018 Card Player Poker Tour (Isle Casino Pompano Park)
Event #1 | $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 3 (Blinds 100/200/200)
Total Flight 1B Entries: 64

Christopher Lawson (Livingston, TX) may be somewhat covered up at the table, but he couldn't hide from the media, who spotted him over at Table 10.

As seen in his covered up demeanor at the table, Christopher Lawson (Livingston, TX) is perfectly content not standing out.  While he may fly under the radar here at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, if you place Lawson at the Rio during the WSOP, he's going to be noticed by a good portion of the players.  Lawson is a traveling tournament dealer...and one of the best at his crafts.  He's strategically placed in some of the largest tournaments of the WSOP summer, regardless of poker variant.  The schedule he has throughout the year, allows his to travel to numerous spots across the country, and also get the chance to play as well.  As a matter of fact, Lawson played well enough on the WSOP Circuit, to earn himself a seat in the $1,000,000 Global Casino Championship (WSOP Circuit Leaderboard).  Christopher's story was well documented in an excellent article written by Matt Clark, which can be found by clicking here.

Throughout all of Lawson's travels, his largest tournament cash came right here at the Isle, when he won last year's $360 No Limit Hold'em event during the 2017 Isle Classic.  The result was worth $26,293, and makes up a good portion of his $130,275 career tournament earnings.  He has history in this particular event, so a close eye will be kept on Lawson's progress throughout the day.  Christopher headlines the first look at notables in this Flight 1B field, joining the likes of:

Tom Gity
Erik Christensen
Rick Kalgstein
Scott Levitt
Daniel Genachte
Brian Haines
Eric Piderit
Daniel Pearlman
