CPPT Event #1 (Flight 1B): One Of The Late Arrivals Quickly Makes A Splash

2018 Card Player Poker Tour (Isle Casino Pompano Park)
Event #1 | $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 6 (Blinds 300/500/500)
Total Flight 1B Entries: 88

Scott Levitt (Delray Beach, FL) needed just a few orbits to more than triple his 30,000 unit starting stack, and is now the early Flight 1B chip leader.

The late arriving poker player is nothing new to the scene, as a handful of notables names have joined the field since break.  One of those players was Scott Levitt (Delray Beach, FL), who took his seat at Table 1, and immediately made his presence felt.  On one of the final hands of Level 5, Scott's pocket jacks cracked the pocket aces of Curry Burns, which helped Levitt assume the early Flight 1B chip lead (with just over 70,000).  Scott is coming off a SHRPO where he cashed in two events, the $570 No Limit Hold'em Event #1 (98th place for $2,298), and the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Event #21 (62nd for $2,195).

Scott Levitt - 74,000 (148bb)

Since break, other notables to join the Flight 1B action include:

Raminder Singh
Engelberth Valera
Michael Marks
Nagui Yassa
