On one of the final hands of the level, Raj Vohra opened from early position, with two players making the call. Michael Amato (Boca Raton, FL), who was in the big blind, shoved for just over 200,000. Vohra made the call, and the two flatters released their hands. Amato would be at risk, and behind when the cards were tabled, holding 7♥ 7♠ against Vohra's K♠ K♣. The runout would bring no help to Amato, who turned a Day 2 buy-in, into just over $5,000.
