FSPC Event #9 (Day 2): And Raj Does It Once Again, Eliminates Matt Smith In 6th Place ($13,047)

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #9 | $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 24 (Blinds 15,000/30,000/30,000)
Total Event #9 Entries: 341
Event #9 Players Remaining: 5

After a deep run in the $365 No Limit Hold'em Giant (Event #6) at the WSOP, Matt Smith (Margate, FL) reaches the final table in his first tournament back in Florida.

Matt Smith (Margate, FL) was sitting with just over ten big blinds, and got a shove through just moments ago, helping build his stack to 525,000.  The very next hand after, while Matt was stacking up his chips, he'd go all-in with action on him. Both Phil Hui and Erik Nomberg folding, with Raj Vohra making the call:

Smith: 6♠ 6♣
Vohra: 88

Runout: A♣ A K♠ 10♣ J♣

Matt would be in rough shape when the cards were tabled, and was unable to find any help through the runout.  In an pretty remarkable feat, Raj has now eliminated all but one player since the final table was reached.
