Joe Boulais would open with a raise to 75,000, with action folding around to Erik Nomberg in the big blind. Nomberg three-bet to 240,000 (with just over 500,000 behind), with Boulais four-bet shoving. Erik snapped, and the cards were tabled:

Nomberg would whiff the flop, but the paired board helped to bring outs on the turn, as an over-card came to Boulais's pocket pair. Erik was rooting for an eight on the river (as well), but the four would seal his elimination.
