FSPC Event #9 (Day 2): Ryan Gianquitti And Dean Schultz Bubble, But Get A Little Rebate

2018 Florida State Poker Championship
Event #9 | $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 17 (Blinds 3,000/6,000/6,000)
Total Event #9 Entries: 341
Event #9 Players Remaining: 42

Joe Boulais (Cocoa, FL) would eliminate Ryan Gianquitti on the first hand of hand-for-hand play, with Dean Schultz eliminated on the very same hand (meaning the two would share 43rd place prize money).

Only one hand into the hand-for-hand process, Ryan Gianquitti would be all-in (and at risk) at Table 4, after Joe Boulais made the call.  Gianquitti was flipping with A J against Boulias' 4♠ 4, but would find no help in the 10♠ 3♠ 7 Q Q♣ runout.  It looked for a moment like Ryan was going to walk away empty handed, but Dean Schultz was eliminated on the same hand at Table 1, meaning the two players would split the 43rd place prize money ($843).

That means that everyone remaining in Event #9 is now in the money, and will receive their respective share of the prize pool.  Official results will be posted as each pay jump is complete.
